Hi, don't panic we've all made mistakes in an attempt to get rid of spots. I used a face wash because it said it had a 90% sucess rate. I got such a bad allergic reaction from it i had to go to hospital and thought my face would never be normal again. Strong home remedies are never a good idea, you must see a qualified dermatologist. For $19 you can go to Ask a doctor on the dermatology forum and Dr Rockoff will give you some advice. Please then make an appointment to see a dermatologist for treatment and let me know how you get on. Best wishes, Loiloi x
Yes, that kind of does sux. I feel the same way with my acne right now. I have red inflamed pimples on my forehead that make me look like I have some disease. It's awful. I'm looking for something to reduce the appearance of my scars once this infection goes away. I know the scars will be bad b/c they were the deep painful ones. Those are usually leave the most ugliest scars.
A friend suggested me to try Mederma. Have you heard if it? It's only sold in the US, but you can order it online. They sell it at Wall-Marts. The bleaching cream that you may have been exposed to is Hydroquinque something like that. Mederma doesn't have this ingredient, and has more natural ingredients.

Hi have been thinking of you, and hope you have now either spoken to Dr. Rockoff online or a dermatologist face to face. If you are still waiting for your appointment please keep the packaging of what you used and take it with you. It is unlikely that a bleach solution itself would change the color of black skin, for example if you are using bleach to clean your kitchen or bathroom. The doctor will need to know exactly what ingredients this product contained and the percentage of the active ingredient. You don't say how often you used this cream or whether you put it on large areas of your face or just on isolated pimples. I am optimistic that an over the counter product would not be strong enough to permanently damage your skin. I imagine that this 'bleaching cream' was for white people wanting to get rid of dark pigmentation, not for black people with acne. Get a doctor to advise you with this problem, then get back to me and we'll discuss some products that really will help acne. x
