Face redened and has burning sensation after applying raw savlon

I applied undiluted savlon on my facial acne(after clearing out puss)  and left it overnight. when I saw my face in morning, the face area where I applied savlon was redened and burning. I applied vico turmeric cream on it, but still is red and burning. Please suggest, how to get rid of burning and redness on face.

Hi there!

This could be due to chemical reaction resulting in inflammation and is likely to subside in a few days. You could try using an antibiotic ointment over it to prevent infection from setting in.
