Also the doctor said the side effects would only last a couple days, my faceFace pain was red and flakey for over a week after. Is this normalNormal saline flush?
Right before the laser treatment the doctor applied a greenGreen tea gel like substanceDrug abuse. After the treatment she said you don't want to scrub your sensitive skin to hard to get it off so she sent me home a little green still...is that normal?
I'm just hoping with all the time and money I've put into this that the treatment and doctor were good selections. Can anyone give me some feedback from their experiances?????
Yes, I have also done fraxel and I'm very please with the results. You will start seeing results after your 3rd treatment. Yes, it is normal to be sent home with your face a little blue-green looking. It typically comes off in the shower, and don't scrub it because your skin is raw from having 20% of your top layer removed! Also, yes, it is normal to flake and your face to be red for a week - that's how long it was for me after each treatment. After the 3rd treatment I did not feel a need to wear cover up anymore to cover my scars - so yes, I think you are doing the right thing and you will see results! In addition, the texture of your skin just keeps getting better even after you finish the fraxel. Good luck - I am excited for you!!!!
I am 30 and Asian and unfortunately after my first treatment I remained red in the face even after a good 3-1/2 months. I've noticed no improvement to my skin (acne scars). I was told 7, maybe even 14 days, of redness. I'm not sure if what I did was a good idea. The only comments I've received post treatment was why was my face all red? I wonder if this result is common for ethnic skin?
