GIANT bump on temple. not a zit, I have pictures. please help!!

Hey everyone, not sure if this is the right forum or not but im gonna post anyways as this thing thats growing out of my temple is getting ridiculous!!

its about a week old, I thought it was a zit but its not. it wont pop like a zit. I squeezed it very hard and it shot blood out and dripped blood for about 1-2 minutes. I poked it with a needle like you would sometimes do to a zit trying to make a hole for the "stuff" inside of it to come out, and nothing came out.

its staying the same size, or growing, and WONT pop. it is HUGE. if I had to guess, it it about 10mm high and about 15mm diameter. almost the size of a small marble or the tip of your pinky finger.

can someone please tell me what it is and how to get rid of it!!!!

sorry, these pictures arent the best and dont show its size very well, but trust me when I say its massive!

thanks everyone, I really appreciate it!

ok so the picture links didnt work as well as I thought they would.. if you copy and paste these links and you can see them.

more info: I am 20 years old, never had bad skin problems, eat pretty healthy. I think this lump might be formed, or agitated by me wearing a hard hat at work all day but not positive.

please help!! any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

This may be an acne cyst. Do not pop it or stick a needle in it! Doing so will spread bacteria under the skin leading to more cysts, delayed healing time, secondary infection and even permanent scarring.
Use an anti-inflammatory skin cream such as Freederm (nicotinamide). If this doesn't work see your doctor as a steroids injected into the site will reduce swelling.
My boyfriend gets these from wearing a hard hat at work too. Take facial cleansing wipes to work with you, or wash your face on your break. Keep the inside of your hard hat really clean to avoid the spread of bacteria.
Best Wishes, Eloise.
