Anyways, this week has been a disaster. It started out great, I've been under less stress than usual lately and been very happy. Suddenly, I started to get some pimples around my chinChin augmentation Chin augmentation - series/sides of upper lip. I thought, no big deal they will go away. But when I woke up, I woke up to about 10-15 pimples all on my nose! How did this happen? I have done nothing different in my lifestyle. And those pimples around my chin and sides of my upper lip, well they are getting bigger now than my pimples ever got while taking minocycline!
Hi. How long have you been using Minocycline and Clindoxyl for?
Antibiotics should not be considered ineffective until they have been used for 3-4 months. It is generally better to persevere with one antibiotic than to switch to another brand before it has had time to work. However if Minocycline is ineffective another antibiotic such as Lymecycline can be tried.
If trials of two different oral antibiotics result in failure or relapse you may be a candidate for oral isotretinoin (Accutane/Roaccutane). Have you discussed this with your doctor?
Eloise.
I've been on Minocycline (the oral antibiotic) and Clindoxyl (the gel) for 6-7 months. They have worked wonders up until this past Monday...
I have talked to my doctor and he and I both agreed that the Minocycline and Clindoxyl duo work wonders. We discussed the Accutane but I told him I didn't want any blood being taken...
Anyways, if it is a problem with the antibiotic, why would it suddenly stop working? I mean, they honestly just appeared on Monday. There were no signs of lumps or pain or red spots on Sunday night...
Someone please help.
