Hair thinning from Accutane (Isotretinoin)???

Im 17, almost 18, i've been on accutane fro about 3 months now and noticed for the past while that the hair at my temples on the sides is thinning, and didn't realize that it could be caused by accutane.  Will it grow back? Right now its not bald, but its thinning and short and im worried that it won't come back thicker. Will it come back thicker? I don't really have really thick hair, its about medium.  Will it come back at all? I really hope so!

Hi. Accutane works by shrinking the sebaceous glands. This can also effect the hair follicles and occasionally patients report thinning hair or increased hair growth. When you finish your medicine, it can stay in your body for up to 5 weeks. After this time side effects should no longer occur.
It is also worth knowing that acne patients often have high levels of androgens. In females this can cause thin hair as well as acne. If the problem persists ask your doctor for Diane35 or Spironolactone which are anti-androgen medicines prescribed for acne and androgen-related alopecia.
