Hi. You may wish to repost this in another forum. I am only an expert on the skin condition acne (pimples which occur on greasy areas of skin such as the faceFace pain, chest and back -and not what you describe).
Herpes simplex virus usually manifests itself as crusty lesions on the side of the mouth which tingle. This girl could have been suffering from a throat infection though.
Have you spoken to her? Or are you no longer in contact?
Eloise.
You can be pretty sure this is not herpes, which appears as coldsores near the mouth, rather than what you describe.
There was quite a long time inbetween you kissing this girl and developing symptoms. You may have an infection which is totally unrelated to kissing her. See your doctor, you may need a course of antibiotics.
