Hormonal acne brought on by STD?
Within the past month I had unprotected sex with someone I don't know very well. Recently I started breaking out under my nose and on my chin area, which I've read were my hormonal areas in regards to acne. Could a STD like Chlamydia be the cause of this? I'm 36 and no stranger to breakouts and a few years back, I had syphilis. Unfortunately being blind to the symptoms I went almost a year without knowing. During the 2nd stages I noticed I broke out around my mouth SO much more than I ever have. Now that my face is breaking out (more than normal) in this area again, I'm starting to get extremely worried. I do plan to get tested but I'd really like to hear what you have to say.
