As a teenager, my skin was acne prone and I would develop a few pimples which were generally located around my forehead or chin. To combat these pimples, I purchased the Murad Acne Complex Introductory Kit from Sephora. After using Murad, I developed cystic acne which formed all over my cheeks and was very painful and extremely dark (a deep red/purple colour). I discontinued using it but my skin was horrible and my acne was still visible under my foundation. My self-esteem was greatly effected and it was even painful to sleep on my face. I stumbled upon the acne.org regimen after seeing a review on youtube and immediately went out and purchased the products suggested on the website. I used Clean and Clear Foaming Cleanser, Benzagel 5, and the Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer. There was a noticeable difference within days. After following the regimen for about a month, my acne almost completely cleared up. However, I was left with dark acne marks that could still be seen when I wore foundation. I looked around for reviews on different spot correctors and was about to purchase Clinique's Dark Spot Corrector when I stumbled upon Garnier Renew Dark Spot Overnight Peel while shopping at Walmart. After the first use, I noticed a difference and now, two weeks later, my acne marks have almost completely disappeared! I don't know if this will work for everyone, but it definitely worked for me. I hope this helps someone else who is suffering from acne!
