I just turned 20. I am starting to get a ton of pimples!

Hi! I just turned 20, and I have never ever had serious breakouts like I am having now. I don't know why it is happening. I am washing my face twice a day with a wash and moisturizer called Velocity. It seems really gentle and cleans my face really well, but I have no idea why I am all of a sudden experiencing so many zits ...it has been going on for over a month now, and it's really frustrating because I feel like I am getting acne! I have never had skin like this, even thru puberty! The zits are occuring mostly on my cheeks and on my forehead. I have no idea why this is happening or how to stop it! I also tried this stuff called AcneFree and I think it was making my face overly dry, and causing my face to over-react and produce more oil than usual. I really don't know what's going on! HELP!

pimples can be caused by underwashing or overwashing your skin - stick to twice a day (morning and night)

Use an oil-free cleanser at night. Use warm (not hot or cold) water. Don't use toner. Use a light moisturizer (without sunscreen).

Don't use cleanser in the morning. Just wash gently with warm water, and then use a light moisturizer.

Also, pimples can be caused by unwashed hair, dirty sheets (change sheets weekly), **** skin products from the supermarket, and a bad diet.
Sweating via exercise helps flush out pores/acne....

I guess the obvious question is: have you noticed a link between the moisturizer and your problem? Reading your post, I quickly found an article (click) talking about problems when using this product. Before you try another acne solution, read the article, stop using Velocity, and wait to see if your skin shows some improvement... hopefully that will help you! If not, we'll try to look for a solution to your problem, because I believe that it was not a classic breakout, but a skin reaction instead.
