Isotretinoin 20mg?

I just started taking isotretinoin 20mg dosage and was wondering if any one has drunk alcohol mildy while taking the medicine?? my acne is however not on my face but on my back and stomach. i have been told that mild alcohol can do no harm but not totally sure? need sum advice don't want to cause any liver damage

Hi. 20mg Isotretinoin is quite a low dose and an occasional alcoholic drink, for example on a special occasion, should not be harmful. You should be having regular liver function tests whilst on this drug, and your prescriber will inform you of the results and any necessary action.
