Minocin side effects

My 18 yr old daughter has been on minocin for four months with very good results relating to her acne. However, over the past four weeks or so she has been complaining of various aches and pains in her feet, ankles and wrists. She limps in the morning for an hour or two. Over the past two days she has gotten very bad and her feet are swollen. She is not able to do her usual activities such as dancing and horse riding. Could minocin be the problem?
