Minocycline 100mg not working

Hi! I've been taking minocycline 100mg for more than a month now and I see no change in my acne. I constantly have pimples appearing and the minocycline isn't even doing anything to the pimples i currently have. Why isn't it working???

Hi. Your doctor should have advised you that it will take about 8-12 weeks to see an improvement. Minocycline is effective, but acne responds slowly to oral antibiotics.
Be patient and give this medication a fair trial. It is better to persist with one treatment for an adequate period of time than to give up and switch to another treatment.
