Minocycline Side Effects

I have been taking minocycline for almost 3 months and have noticed side effects for the last month. I have noticed very slight hair thinning, facial hair growth, and an increase in oil on my face. I am going to have my hormone levels checked but am also curious if it may be due to the minocycline. I stopped the minocycline on my own due to the hair thinning because clearing my acne is not worth the possible side effects to me. Could the hair thinning and facial hair growth be due to anything else besides a hormone change or the minocycline? I also take trileptal, but have been taking it for a couple of years without any complications. thanks for any advice!
