Hi. You're right, concurrent use of topical Erythromycin and salicylic acid may result in fragility of the skin. I use Sparkling Clean cleanser by Estee Lauder which controls oily skin without over-stripping. I use this in conjunction with my prescription acne gel (Differin) without irritation.
Occassionally, my skin becomes overly dry in the areas I apply Differin. I then use a cleanser by La Rcohe Posay, either Physiological cleanser or Effaclar H.
Eloise.
