Pen??

Pen??

I ordered a new product today to help treat my acne. It is called Acne Pen. I have never heard of this before. I am scared this is a scam, but i am so desperate. My skin is very sensitive so I want something that does not cover all of my face like a mask or pads. Has anyone tried this pen? Is it good?

Does anyone know products that are not damaging to sensitive skin?

Thanks You All

Hi. The important thing is the active ingredient in this pen. Is it salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide? I agree that if you have isolated pimples with healthy but sensitive skin around them that you need a product you can apply precisely. I like ByeBye Blemish drying lotion. I also like the concealing pen Clinique make which both covers the spot and helps it to heal.
If your skin is sensitive you might consider using an oral treatment instead of a topical one. Your doctor could prescribe an antibiotic such as erythromycin or oxytetracycline. Also discuss changing to an anti-androgen contraceptive pill. Brands like Diane35 or Yasmin will help clear acne.

It is an electronic device that "infuses silver" into the area that claims to kill the bacteria that causes the pimple.

The site is www.acne-pen.com.

It should be here by Friday so i can leave updates.

Thanks for the advice! I was looking into Yasmin, glad to hear someone else heard that it helps.

I have visited their website. I will remain neutral about this particular product as I have no prior knowledge of it. However, in general I would say that if something seems too good to be true it probably is. You would be better off taking an anti-androgen birth control pill and/or oral antibiotics. These are commonly prescribed medicines which have been proven to be effective.
