Perioral dermatitis

I am a 19 year old female, I never really had acne but my face used to get really dry and i would use heavy creams. Around a year ago i noticed a cluster of red bumps in the corner of my mouth, for the past year i've assumed it was an irritation and have been changing items i've been using on my face, what i do my wash in, everything i could think of. Throughout the course of the year it spread to the sides of my chin and bottom of my cheek. I started putting everything in my closet on the bumps and noticed a steriod cream proscribed to my brother for eczema was working, so i became addicted to it. Using it would clear it up but when i didnt use it, it would become twice as bad. It took me a year to go online and see if there was actually a disease for it. The second i saw perioral dermatitis i knew it was that, I went to the doctor and she gave me a topical anti-bacteria gel, but it only got worse. (It also was worse because i stopped the steriod.) She is now ordering me an antibiotic called doryx, so hopefully it helps out! But if this sounds similar to what you have, don't waste time trying to find your own fixes or getting dependent on steriod creams, get to a doctor and get on antibiotics!

i began antibiotics and the rash is getting worse, its spread and its bright red and burning. help!
