Pimple leaves birth mark?

Hi,

I know that you shouldn't pop your pimples, but I unfortunately have been for a while. My problem is that when I do, and the spot is healing, I think blood dries underneath the healing skin and it leaves a small brown mark that looks like a tiny birth mark or freckle. I believe it's just a small blood spot or scab underneath the skin. Is there any way to get rid of them or prevent this (other than not popping pimples).

Those spots are pretty common, and they fade over time.  My dermatologist explained it to me as my skin being 'stained.'  A lot of acne products work by making the skin exfoliate and regenerate faster than usual, so those same things would help with the marks left behind.  Vitamins A and E are supposed to be good for the skin as well, so taking them orally or as a cream or something on your skin would probably help as well.
And of course you should try to stop popping them, because they can come back worse or get infected, and take longer to go away.

But they aren't the regular spots after pimples. They are full out small brown dots. If you look at my pictures, you can see them there. They look like actual birth marks. Do these fade as well?
