RASH LIKE REACTION TO AMPICILLIN TR 500 MG CAPSUL

Hello there,
Just about a week ago my face started breaking out in a rash/sunburn/scaley type condition. i dont know how else to explain it... its sore, red, and tender, cracks in the skin...has that raw feel and look to it. well anyways this just started happening to my face.. Im currently on meds for acne. my doctor has me on "Ampicillin TR 500 mg capsulsta". And also using "Clenia" for my face wash. Well like i said ive been on this cycle for a month now. I recently had to refill my Ampicillin pills, thing is i moved and had to get my persciption xfered. i had them originally at my local pharmacy/gorcery store. Well since i moved i had to get them refilled at CVS. i got my perscription xfered and CVS refilled them. They do not look the same as the ones i was taking before i got them refilled at CVS. The label is the same so im not sure if looking the same make any difference..but this past week, taking the new refill i started breaking out in this rash i mentioned. ive done nothing different that i could think of that could make me break out like this.. When i first was put on the meds my face was getting better and i could see a difference. now that i got the refill my face has completely changed and i dont understand what it is, also i might add im getting dizzy now from the new refill. with the old pill i didnt get dizzy at all....unless im having  a really late reaction to the ampicillin. or could it be a different type of ampicillin that the pharmacy had sold to me? i can not use the clenia anymore for it burns my face not when i use it.. last month i did not have this problem at all. everything was fine. i was using clenia 2x a day. once when i woke up and once before i went to bed. .. any help would be appreciated.. thanks.

Check that the active ingredient and its dosage are the same as you had before. If they are it could be a different colorant or preservative in the pills you are reacting to.
Take no further pills. Seek medical attention and take the packet with you so the doctor knows what you've taken. Allergic reactions can be dangerous. Symptoms of an allergy include a rash, closing of the airways or difficulty breathing, feeling faint and swelling of the face, tongue or fingers.
I hope you get well soon. Loiloi xx
