Skin Rash

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this or not but I woke up 2 days ago with a bad rash on my face.  It itches like crazy.  Red bumps like a lot of bug bites.  Every time I scratch it spreads.  It started on my forehead and now has spread all the way down the left side of my face and on my chin.  I've tried Calamine and aloe lotions but it hasn't gotten any better.  If it doesn't get better, I am going to the doctor this weekend.  I was just wondering if anyone had any home remedies or who might know what it is.  I also have severe itching on my thighs and arms that creates bumps but than goes away but itches like crazy.  I have never had poison Ivy which was my initial thought but I haven't been around any.  Please help!  Thanks, Jessica

Hi. It would be prudent to take antihistamine tablets such as Piriton (available without prescription, always read the label). If symptoms continue seek medical advice as treatment with steroids may be necessary.
Re-post in the Dermatology Forum as I am only an expert on acne, not allergies.
