Solodyn Hives

I was prescribed Solodyn about a month ago by my dermatologist.
About two days ago, I have been very itchy and sporadically developing hives.
I talked to my dermatologist and was told to stop the medication.
I am also on two topical medications - Benzaclin & Differin Cream.
My skin has dramatically cleared up within the past month, due to either the Solodyn or the topical meds - I have no idea.
My two questions are:

1. Will I break out significantly because I will be stopping the Solodyn??
and
2. Will I become sick from abruptly stopping the Solodyn??
