Tretinoin Cream better known as Retin A

I have had moderate to severe acne including a very oily face all my life.  I finally went to see my doctor who prescribed treinoin cream.  I have been using it for over two months now and I do not see any dramatic improvement.  I have been very patient and still use the prescription.  What I am wondering is if I should go back to my doctor to get a different prescription or should I stick with it.  If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

I heard that it can take up to 6 months to see a diffrence. I think that you should stick with it for a little bit longer, you maybe suprised.

Continue using the cream, even the most effective treatments take time to work. Speak to your doctor to see if you warrant oral antibiotics or an anti-androgen birth control pill, in addition to your topical treatment.
