MY SON WAS DIAGNOSED WITH WOLLY HAIR NEVUS WITH EXTINSIVE EPIDERMAL NEVUS AND CONICAL TOOTH. THIS EXTREMELLY RARE. I AM LOOKING FOR ANY INFORMATION THAT MAY BE HELPFUL.

Hi there!
Yes, both the conditions are extremely rare. Wooly hair could be an autosomal dominant or recessive genetic trait; while the latter is associated with syndromes such as with palmoplantar hyperkeratosis, heart abnormalities, bone and teeth defects etc. There is no treatment currently available while chemicals and cosmetics would need to be avoided. The manifestations become less severe with age. You could read more about the condition online.
