Weird, hot, red rash all over my face spreading down my body.

About a week ago I started to get a rash of little red spots all over my face.  I thought that it was just a bad breakout of spots to begin with, but it definitely looks more like a rash now.  To begin with my skin was greasy and the spots were just small and red (non-itchy) but now some of these spots have tiny little yellow heads on them and the skin on my face now feels like sandpaper, and these spots are now slightly itchy.  My face also feels incredibly hot even though I live in the UK which is rarely hot!  They've begun to spread down my neck, onto the top of my arms and also my chest.  I'm quite worried now because I have absolutely no idea what is causing this and it only seems to be getting worse.

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would not be possible to determine that cause of your rash. This sounds like either an infectious disease rash or an allergic reaction. Other possibilities that may need to be considered are autoimmune conditions, blood disorders etc. I would suggest consulting a primary care physician or a dermatologist for an evaluation, accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
