Weird Rash.

Recently I came down with a weird rash. I started out a little itchy around my mouth and then not long after that I was itching around my eyes, on my ear lobes and also on my penis and scrotum! At first I thought I was having an allergic reaction to something (which I've never had before). But it's now been a week and the itching is unbearable! There's not really any bumps (except it feels a little bumpy on the back of my ear lobes). It's just red, dry, swollen, and irritated and itches like crazy! I've been in a monogamous relationship for two years and my partner doesn't have any of these symptoms. I don't have health insurance and I don't know what to do. Any help would be much appreciated! Hi there!

Well without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of the rash. Possibilities that may need to be considered include infections, inflammations, allergies etc. You could try OTC anti-histaminics and see if these seem to help. If you do not notice any improvement it might be worthwhile consulting a doctor for an evaluation and appropriate management.
