Weird acne

Recently, Ive been getting acne on my nose. Of course, Ive gotten acne on my nose before but it usually goes away in max a week. This acne is smaller and its red and pus usually comes out of my acne. Well this acne was just a little red pimple, well actually theres like 4-5 and all near the same spot on my nose (which looks horrible)! Anyways, Ive been trying this home remedy of toothpaste on the acne and it seems to be working(sort of). The acne is still visible and more dry than before and there seems to be more of them??. Is there anyway to just get rid of this acne? I got it 3 days ago. I know I said the maximum it took for my acne to go was a week but this acne is kinda turning into scars(what I mean by that is one of them is a little brown dot now which looks like a speck of dirt on my nose.

Hi. Do not use toothpaste on acne. Toothpaste has no anti-acne properties and may discolor your skin. Instead buy an over the counter acne gel such as ByeByeBlemish (contains zinc and salicyclic acid) or Freederm (contains nicotinamide).
If these are of limited use, see your doctor for a prescription acne gel such as Differin (adapalene) or Dalacin-T (clindamycin).
Eloise.

Hey, thanks for the response. I already did use the toothpaste on my nose, thats why I made the post(partly). Yeah, you're right, it does discolor the skin. The middle of my nose is darker than the left and right side of it now. An update on the acne: Its gotten better now, I kinda left it alone which is what I should have done in the first place.. I still got some acne scars. Anyone know anything about getting rid of those? But then again, Im not sure because ever since I left this acne alone, its gotten better. Just wanna throw in though, I heard that Visine will get redness out.
