Weird jucing acne

Weird jucing acne

Doc,

I am a 29 year old guy who takes vitamins, eats healthy, and I work out regularly. I get occasional regular breakouts but if I do, I pop the pimples and they go away.

Recently, I have been getting pimples that don't pop and keep producing a clear juice which dries yellow on the skin. They will not go away no matter what I do. I practice Brazilian jiu-jitsu so I wonder if it has something to do with the heat in the room. I take a shower in the morning and always right after practice. I use non-comodonic (sp?) facewash and lotion. I am pretty sure they aren't staph or weird stuff from the mats.... I am almost 30, this should not be happening, what are they and what can I do?

Thanks

Dont pop your pimples, that just makes it worse and causes scarring, your hormones could just be going through a phase right now.  Are you feeling stressed at work or at home?  Its hard to evaluate your situation through the internet but if you read this lens it has alot of details that would help you.

Thanks Sentra for trying to push your product on me... it definitely answered my question. Hope the MCATs weren't too hard...

I am an 18 year old female having this same problem!! I'm a musical theatre student. I didn't have much acne going through puberty, and now my skin is generally always clear. I have the EXACT SAME pimples described above: these are NOT normal zits. Has anyone found a solution??

Hi.
There is a lack of medical evidence that a healthy diet and vitamins helps acne. Acne is caused by a particular sensitivity to the effects of androgens. Androgens are male hormones which occur in male and female bodies. Androgens stimulate the sebaceous (oil) glands in the skin. Bacteria on the skin feeds off this excess oil, blocking the pores and leading to acne.
The best way to clear acne is to see your doctor for a course of oral antibiotics such as Oxytetracycline 250mg twice daily and/or a topical retinoid such as Differin (adapalene).
Female acne patients can also take the combined contraceptive pill to stabilise hormones.
Do not pop pimples, this spreads bacteria under the skin leading to more pimples, delayed healing time and even permanent scarring.
Eloise.

I found the solution for this strange acne! At least, it worked for me. Derm perscribed me a topical called altabax and it went away in under a week.

Hi, I know this discussion is from awhile ago, but I am having the exact same thing you are describing here.  I have had breakouts on and off since I turned about 20, I am now 25 and these pimples are way different than any I have had before.  First, they are on my forehead where I have never had zits before.  And they don't pop, they just have that clear liquid that comes out and then crusts up.. gross.  And it's like they get inflamed and all come at once, then all go away at once.. sometimes they will flare up at night and then be gone the next morning, sometimes they stay for days.  Did you ever find a solution for this?  This has been going on for about 6 months now and I feel like I've tried everything short of antibiotics and birth control.
Thanks!
