When will my acne stop

Hi, I am 24 years old and I have had acne since I was 13. I have tried everything except birth control because I fear it will make me gain weight. I have tried tetracycline, Roaccutain, Vaxa Clearin (Herbal tablets), but nothing has ever worked. They probably cleared up for a little but they always came back. Right now, I am using a Neutogena acne kit but as usual, it does not help. What can I try? I have given up on dermatologists now as none of them seem to know what to do. Can you please offer some medical advice. Thanks.

Go on Accutane again. Birth control might make you gain appox. 5lbs but if so, its usually water weight that will go away. Hormones have a lot to do with acne so that's step 1.

i have been on 4 different types of pills and never gained any weight.
if you eat rubbish and dont exercise and go on the pill then you obviously will but if you're sensible you have nothing to worry about.
if you're 24 and still getting acne then hormones play a big role in your breakouts and you really should be on brith control. diane is better for acne than yasmin and alot cheaper too.
