why acne reccurs after a few months interval of having a course of accutane?

Accutane is a very powerful drug, during the use of accutane it brings your acne out to the surface. In theory is you have acne underneath the skin it will bring it out thus causing you to think its a acne reccurence.  it usually takes several months for yuor acne to really dissapear. keep this  in mind.  although accutane is the best acne drug in the market it has a ton of bad side effects. accutane as like any drug is not 100%. there is a possibility you will develop acne again.

Just to let you know. Hormones may create a lot of your acne problems.

Do you drink milk. I have noticed that when I stopped drinking milk my acne got a lot better. Milk has hormones thaty can produce alergic (allergic) reactions thus causing out breaks. I use a lot of natural remedied also, like apple cider vinegar and aspirin masks. It doesn't hurt to try and see if it will work.

I am 33 been a long time acne sufferer. I am pale skin also very oily skin. This has worked for me.

I had to take 2 rounds of Accutane and I have to be on differin forever...now my skin is clear. You may have to do a second round.

exactly ..i have done the 2nd course of acutane recently...n my dr. has suggested dat taking high fat diet as well as milk n milk shakes can cause the acne to reccur so its better to have controlled diet taking more n more fresh fruits n vegetable..

accutane is very effective, however it has many side effects. i was a pimple faced kid and adult. i never tried accutane. i am pale skin, i have very oily skin. I tried every cream. every prescribed or over the counter nothing worked.    i decided to do different regimens. i found something that worked, mind you , i have had acne my whole life. this is what i did and it was effective for me.

1. I stopped drinking Milk, i now drink almond milk.   Milk produces hormones that can cause a negative reaction to the skin, thus creating acne.  try to see if milk is the problem. you an also google milk and acne , you will be suprised.  try a substitute milk. there are many substiute milks  like rice, almond or coconut milk.

2.  i use aspirin masks once a week, put 3-4 aspirin in a small cup and dissolve with little water, let it turn into a paste, apply to face for about a few minutes and take it off. acne is inflamation (inflammation) and aspirin takes away inflamation (inflammation).

3. Buy apple cider vinegar, this stuff works wonders, you can buy it in any pharmacy for a few bucks. apply every night.  This stuff really stinks so use it only before bed. Its a home acne remedy, but it can be used for many other things as well.

4. its a bit expensive, not sure if it works or not but , i bought tanda a blue light therapy. type tanda blue light therapy.

5. in the summer months carry a dry towel and everytime he sweats he can wipe the sweat off.

this worked for me,  while i am not completely acne free, 90% of my acne is gone.
