accutane 4 month! still getting pimple

hey its my fourth month of accutane now, i started taking turmeric with it as well cause my initial flar was not ending  it was leaving me with worse scars i was ready to leave the drug  ! turmeric is apparently a strong antibacterial so it stopped the horrible acne from growing and literally cleared out my skin ,i stopped the turmeric to see if accutane had actuallay worked , but im stilll getting acne and it still very big cyctic acne , im on .5mg/kg does this mean i should continue longer like 6 month with this dose cause i want me acne to clear out but dont want to take high doses??

hi, i just took the accutane for 6 months the first 3 months was at 30mg and the last 3 months i was on 80mg a day which is the highest dose. talk to your derm to see what the best thing to do is, but if your already taking accutane you might as well up the dose. it will just make your lips etc more dry. i still get acne it worked but not as well as i wanted it too. so oh well, i need to be thankful for my skin. i wouldnt go longer than 6 or 7 months tho. but i didnt start getting clearer until i upped the dose.
