accutane and oiliness

well it s abt 40 days to accutane and now i noticed my skin was very dry b4 but has slight moisture u cant say its oily but moist now !!!  so does it mean ill have to increase my dose whhich is .5mg/kg now am really worried cause im scared of the side effects and my flare hasnt gone yet still have new zits everyday and am even more disfigured then b4 !!

The usual dose for Accutane is 0.5mg x kg patients bodyweight/per day. We would not expect to see an improvement after only 40 days. Be patient, virtually all patients experience total or excellent skin clearance after 12-16 weeks.
Your dermatologist may increase your dose to 1mg x kg patients bodyweight/per day if your acne is particularly severe or not responding well to your medication. But be aware, side effects are generally dose related and increasing the dose may result in another "initial breakout"/temporary worsening of acne.
