accutane and testosterone shots

i am a 33 yr old female. no meds.
i did 2 rounds of accutane 2 yrs ago and my skin has been perfect since. i recently saw my gyne with complaints of low sex drive. she suggested testosterone shots. i recieved 1 cc a month for 3 months. the last shot was a on sept 10. MY ACNE IS TERRIBLE!!. i am freaking out . How long will it take for the testosterone to get out of my system? Will my acne go away  or did i ruin all that time and money spent on accutane?

It was unhelpful of your gynaecologist to suggest testosterone when you've had a history of acne. Having acne will harm your self esteem, and lower your sex drive. Obviously, even though you had to get a shot once a month the effects last longer as it has now been nearly two months since your last shot. See your doctor or dermatologist for advice. Try not to freak out, I became so upset after i relapsed after two courses of roaccutane that i had to be treated for anxiety and depression with diazepam and venlafaxine. Good luck xx
