I am 24 years old.. I don't have bad acne, just very persistant tried everything. Doc wants to put me on accutane. SCARY!!!  Scared of side effects blah, blah, blah. Face is dry, from the retin a and all the other stuff. Tired of fighting with it. I know drying out your skin makes ance worse mine at least.  Since it make you not heal as well, will the scars from it be worse? Since I dont have oily skin, really i think it is mainly hormones will it still help me. I am so confused I wish God would just Say do it or don't do it as clear as day. so fusterated, please respond. My grandmother was wrinkled by 40 from all the acne scars i dont want that to be me, for myself and my husband.

Get yourself on a good skin regime.Wash with a gentle water soluble cleanser.Exfoliate with a beta hydroxy and disinfect with benzoyl peroxide.Only moisterize where you feel dry.
I was on retin a for a while and it did nothing but make myface red and sore.
I have been following the above skincare for 2 years and my skin looks better than it has in years and I am 50 years old.After suffering from acne fo most of my adult life I was glad to find something that works
Oh and be very gentle to your skin.
If you stay on the Retin a be sure to use a sunscreen.
