I was just perscribed accutane by my dermatoligist for nodular acne. I have read the many bad side effects but i really need an answer for this emberassing body acne on my chest an back.. I workout at the gym religiously an take suppliments such as nitricNitric oxide oxide creatine zma testosterone and tribulus... Im worried to continue taking these suppliments when on the accutane... any advise would be great thanks!
The testosterone supplements will be contributing to your acne. Androgens (male hormones) stimulate the sebaceousBirthmarks - pigmented Hair follicle sebaceous gland Sebaceous cyst glands which produce oil. If you have high levels of androgens or are particularly sensitive to their effects you may have acne.
Accutane may cause joint and muscle pain so you may need to reduce the frequency of your gym workouts.

I have taken Accutane twice if you have any specific questions.
You can use Drug Interaction Checkers to check if it is safe to take Accutane and other medicines concurrently. Or you can tell me the exact names of the supplements and I will check them for you.
Testosterone supplements are certainly not helpful for acne sufferers, since androgens stimulate the sebeacous (oil) glands and are a major factor in acne outbreaks.
Not everyone suffers from all the potential Accutane side effects, and side effects are generally dose related. Joint and muscle pain is a common side effect and excessive excerise may have to be avoided.

Right now im taking a suppliment callled n-gorge(nitric oxide and creatine diphosphate), zma and tribulus(both of which ive decided to stop taking due to your advise), green tea extract, daily vegetable and fruit suppliments, milk thistle... As for the joint and muscle pain i go through from working out i take gluttamine, fish/flax oil pills, and glucosomine stack that helps with joint and pain management... The suppliment that im most worried about continuing to use is the n-gorge... I've been on accutane for three days an still take it with no side effects yet but im really not trying to push it even though the gym is where i live an i dont wanna loose strenght on accutane
