acne afterb accutane

Hi, I am a 19 year old female who lives in Jamaica. I took accutane for about eight months, during my eight month course my skin was clear and always cool. However about 2 months after (this year August and Semtemper) accutane I started to get prolonged breakouts and my skin has been really oily.I have took a few antibiotics and gel, I am presently on Retin-A 0.05%unfortunatly I have not seen any progress with my skin clearing up. My opinion is that it has only got worse. What is it that i need to do to just have a healthier skin. I look forward to your advice.

I tired all of the things that you have:
I used accutane as well when I was 15 for about 8 months.  As soon as I stopped, my acne came back after a few weeks so I got back on accutane for another 6 month.  After that, my acne came back again...
My doc then prescibed Retin-A and it didn't help (it dried me out and made my face hurt.)
Finally, when I was 19, I started Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo and my skin cleared up within a few months.

What helped a lot too was using really gentle facial products.  I use Cetaphil face wash twice a day and apply Neutrogena 'On the Spot' treatment right after washing.  As soon as my face starts to feel a little dry, I apply Cetaphil facial lotion.

I stopped taking Ortho when I was 23 and I was worried that my acne would come back, but it didn't!
