acne on forehead

by jav123, Aug 01, 2008 08:47PM
My daughter is almost seven and has what appears to be acne on her forehead.  She has gone to a dermatologist and we found out she had a staph infection.  We don't know if that started the acne or if it was a result from the acne.  She was put on an antibiotic for the infection.  She has also been given an acne wash and differin gel.  When on the antibiotic her forehead seemed to clear a bit, but since being off it is getting worse.  The acne is only on her forehead so far and I hope it will not get worse.  She has bangs and plays sports in the heat all summer which could contribute I guess.  Any other suggestions as to what might be causing this or what an appropriate treatment might be for her age??  There must be an explanation!!  Also, she has had blood work done and everything has come back normal.  Any ideas???

I think this is enough treatment for curing them but you are saying as they not cured yet then you can say him to was her face thrice a day and use some sunscreen lotion according to doctor.
