acne puncture wound

When someone inserts a needle or pin into a whitehead, after the needle was treated by heat for sterilization, it is still possible if they insert the needle to far while attempting to release the pus to harm the skin cells?. My question is can the swelling which occurred within 24 hours be treated. Four months later the bump is still there and many doctors have given differing diagnosis including basal cell cancer- this seems highly unlikely since the wound appeared in such close proximity to the needle puncturing. Moreover, no crusting over usually associated with basal cell has ever occured although the swelling and redness somewhat resemble a basal cell nodule.
Any thoughts are genuinely appreciated. Thank you.

Needle punctruing is not reccomended. you can harm, skin cells if you go to far, plus you can gets lasting scars. i would go to the derm and have them extracted.
