beer & acne?

Does drinking beer cause acne or make it worse? I wondered if I quit drinking if my skin would clear up. I use Proactiv & have for 7 years & really don't get pimples much but the bumps under the skin, whiteheads, blackheads. I am 37 now & when I was 23-24 I didn't drink & had clearer skin.

There is no evidence that certain foods cause acne.  Instead of Pro-active i would see your doctor for Differin, Dalacin-T or Duac cream. You could also take a course of anti-biotics but would not be able to drink alcohol on some of these. Love loiloi x
