cycline allergy

My doctor prescribed me keflex about two years ago, by this time I feel like it is no longer effective and I sought to get a new oral antibiotic so he prescribed me Minocycline. The problem was, I'm an avid soccer player and when I played, the exertion would cause my skin to burn and the skin on my arms developed a red rash, like as if I had been scratching it like crazy. So I turned to Septra DS, same thing happened. I concluded I had an allergy to cycline medications. I was wondering, would these initial side effects wear off? Should I slowly increase the frequency I take the pill in? And also, can I take it simultaneously with keflex? If no, what other oral antibiotics could I be non resistant to that I could take (not in the cycline family).
Thanks
Michael
