did i have herpes

ten years ago i use to notice clusters of small blister like bumps on my penis head. they would hurt and turn to sore when they were squeeze and itch when left alone. i haven't seen them since i have had only 3 partners since 1997 was that herpies (herpes)?

It could be.
Herpes is one of those things that can pop up from time to time as well. Some people can go quite a long time without having an outbreak.
Herpes NEVER goes away though. The sores may go away for a long time, but the virus will be in your system forever.

You should seriously do some bloodwork to find out so that you don't inadvertantly infect some unsuspecting person.

It could have been an allergic reaction as well.
You won't know for sure unless you are tested.
