does sebamed soap treat body acne?

hi.im 18 years old.when i came here in japan my acne on my body started.i dont know why this happen.because ever since pimples or acne doesnt affect my skin.my acne problem is not that worst.its just a little on my chest and back.i just want to ask if sebamed can treat it?or can you just suggest what treatment can i use to get rid of it?.i just want to have a clear skin again and i dont wanna hide this anymore.thanks a lot.god bless and take are always.:]

Hi.
It is very common to get acne during your teenage years. This is because hormones called androgens stimulate the sebaceous (oil) glands in the skin. Bacteria on the skin feed off this excess oil (sebum) blocking the pores and leading to inflammed spots.
The best way to clear acne is to see your doctor for a course of oral antibiotics (like oxytetracycline) and/or a topical retinoid gel (like Differin).
If you cannot currently access prescription medicine use an over-the-counter product containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, such as Blemish Solutions by Clinique.

I'm 19 years old. I have my experience in acne in the past 2 years... i see dermatologist who can give advices to solve my problem.. thanks God she recommend me to use the sebamed soap in washing my face and clindamycin duac which can be applied at night time.. as you  mentioned she also recommend me to us differin but i found clindamycin duac more effective.. what I'm trying to say is.... does clindamycin is safe to use?

hi! Ive been using Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash on my shoulders, back and chest to get rid of the little acne there. It's cheap and easy to find, they sell it at any drugstore or any other store. Plus its not harsh and hasnt dried out my skin. I hope this helps! Good luck!
