As you have sensitive skin, when using a new acne product, apply to a small area to test for reaction before continuing use. Clinique make a good range for blemish prone skin, including a chest and back spray, a facial cleanser and concealor which also dries spots. If store bought remedies prove of limited use, see your doctor for a prescription product. If you use a contraceptive pill switch to Yasmin or Diane35 which also clear acne as they contain anti-androgens. Avoid progesterone only mini-pills or the Depo shot which can make acne worse. Sensible exposure to the sun will help clear the acne on your shoulders. Good luck and have a lovely time in Florida. Loiloi x

Are you a boy or girl? and how old? you need an antibiotic. Take a look at an earlier post about tanning. Short term, if might clear your skin, but you need to see a derm. The 'body acne' on your thighs, is very hormonal - so if you are a girl, it's easy. If you are a boy, not so much, but the oral antibiotics will help. Let us know!

I am  a girl and im 23. I just thought it to be strange because i never had body acne before but i have stress hives as well sooo i guess stress can prob cause acne to lol wish i could get rid of the hive's i have been on 3 different thing's plus steroid's and everything is just a short term effect what im on now for the hives is only for a month it help's pretty well kinda  eh depend's lol.. but i have to take 1 pill every 6 hour's unlike the rest ive taken one a day.
Oh and for the first coment i cant take bc because  my doc and i have proven that in my case they all make me have panic attack's or  generalized anxiety i have been on 7 different one's soo that's unfortunitly outta the question but thank you.
is  Clinique an over the counter thing? well something you can buy at the store ?
hmm they give you antibiotic's for  the " ingorwn hair" on my thigh's well that's what my doc said it was.. she just told me to use baccitracin... so  i should go back and mention something to her about antibiotic's? between the hives and everything else she's like my new best friend lol .
thank you both for your help

Clinique is a cosmetics company, they sell online or in department stores with assistants who can advise you. If the contraceptive pill is contra-indicated, oral antibiotics such as oxytetracycline or erythromycin can be useful for acne. Acne can also dry up with moderate exposure to UV light. It is difficult having both hives and acne, i know, and the steroids could make your acne worse. Have you tried anything to control your stress and anxiety? It sounds like you have a good doctor so talk to her about this. Stress can make both hives and acne worse, which leads to more anxiety. I am 31 and have had skin problems all my life. As well as finding ways to control them, i have had to find ways to control my anxiety about them. Love loiloi xx
