got acne??

what is the best way to get rid of my acne? i have the type that occurs underneath the skin and is very painful. it does not even go away properly and leaves a bumpy surface after most of the damage has been done. second, after the acne goes away and leaves a bumpy surface whiteheads and blackheads appear. i have been perscribed minocycline hcl 100mg and clindamy cin/benzoyl peroxide. i've been using these medications for just over two month and have had minimul results. is there anything that can be done??

Hi. Ask your doctor about a topical retinoid gel (either Differin or Retin-a) instead of the benzoyl peroxide/clindamycin.
There are other oral antibiotics which can be tried if Minocycline results in failure or relapse, such as Oxytetracycline, Lymecycline or Erythromycin
