holes on face

I have had acne since I was 13 years old I am now 27 and still struggling with my skin I know have little holes in my face that I just hate I cant even cover it up with makeup I have tried everything from clearisil to proactive solution nothing has worked please tell me something I can use that does not require me to get injections in my face or some expensive surgery I have never seen what my face looks like without zits and pit holes I hate my face and want something that works anyone please help

Hi there!

As for the acne, you could try some OTC ointments containing benzoyl peroxide/ clindamycin. If these do not seem to help, it is best advised to see a dermatologist for systemic medications or interventional/ alternative therapies. If the scars are just hyperpigmented, OTC ointments containing hydroquinone may be useful. For severer scars, it is best advised to consult a dermatologist since these are unlikely to respond to OTC medications.
