hormonal acne??

I have had breakouts on my chin for over a year now...as soon as they clear up, others come immediatly. The ONLY thing different that happened exactly at the same time is that i quit smoking after 30+ years. Why would that effect my skin? I also had a hysterectomy inat the age of 30 ( im 53 now) and have been off premarin for 6 yrs now..i do get alot of hot flashes still and my face seems to redden easily..I use organic skin line and take good care of my skin..I dont know what more to do...any advice??

Thanks for the input..i did go to acupunture for it and hope to go again soon...i try to go natural all the time...my facialist did say it has to do with digestion probably but i dont know what to do for that..i thought i ate pretty healthy..stopped drinking coffee, smoking cigs..my stress level was high this past year but i thought it had evened out unless its post stress..right now im taking ADRENAL Stress tabs from the health food store..open for more suggestions..thanks,Ann
