ingrown pimple

I sometimes get this sore round red spot anyhwere near my nose, it hurts when i touch it, so i don't try to pop it. what is this and is there any way to get rid of them quick and easy? Is there a way to prevent them?

You're right not to pop it this will make it worse. Try an antibacterial face wash and gel like the one made by Freederm.
