itchy bumps with blisters, please help
I've been getting these bumps that look like mosquito bites, they itch but if I don't scratch them open small blisters form on the top of them. Originally I thought bed bugs, after a month & no sign of their droppings or old shells with  inspection of my mattress and box spring I don't think its them. I find around 3 spots a day now and the itching is driving me insane. I haven't eaten anything new, used any new soaps or lotions, or started any new medications. The spots usually show up on my arms or legs but they have never shown up on the trunk of my body. Ive looked everywhere online and haven't heard a description of spots like this so please help.

Hi there!

Itching also known as pruritis, is a symptom of a wide variety of conditions. It can result from dry skin, infection, inflammation, allergy, insect bites, fungal infection, dermatitis, allergies, hives, scabies or liver diseases causing jaundice. Localised itching with blisters is more likely to be infectious or allergic in nature. Bug bite is a possibility even though they may not be visible. You could try using OTC anti-pruritic ointments and see if these seem to help. If you do not see an improvement you may consider an evaluation by a primary care physician or a dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care.
