It is still early days, stick with your regime and you should see an improvement after about 8 weeks. You may need repeat prescriptions of topical or oral mediation for as long as you are prone to acne.
If you still have acne after long term use of oral antibiotics (after 2 years) you may be a candidate for Accutane. Accutane works by shrinking the oil glands which return to their normal size very gradually, thus resulting in a longer remission time than with other treatments. It is sucsessful in about 80% of patients but doesn't work for everyone, I've taken it twice and relapsed both times. Loiloi xx
