my legs skin

by peacejude, Jan 09, 2008 03:35AM
i am 26 years old femal.... i have extra hair on my body (i am considered to be hairy)..in fact extra hair is not my real problem..i'm not bothered so much with that...but the problem is that there is something wrong with the skin of my legs which is covered with too much hair even the area of my thies. after i remove the hair with the (sugar or wax) ...my legs' bores appear very big as if someone were drawing dots with a pen on my legs.....the other issue is that when the hair grows again, some of it grows underneath the skin, which leaves black dots on my legs, besides that, some of these black dots turn into inflammation (infection, i don't know the right translation, i mean becomes red). so can you help me with that? is there any solution? my legs really look very terrible. i've once seen a doctor and she told me that there is no solution for such a problem!!

A good treatment for excess hair (and acne) is to take an anti- androgen contracpetive pill like Diane35 (Dianette in the UK) or Yasmin. These work by blocking the androgens (male hormones) in your body so they cannot cause excess hair or acne. Rather than trying to remove it at home, get a salon to do a patch test to see if their method results in less reaction from your skin. Loiloi x

thanx loiloi for the advice...in fact i've once used diane35 for 2 months only (i don't know if 2 months is enough period) ..i've seen no advancement! maybe i should use it for longer time....about getting hair off by a salon... in fact such places are rarely found where i live... but i really need to know if there is a solution for the bad nature of my legs skin.... after removing the hair they really look awfull... thier look gets better with shaving but on the long term the hair becomes more rigid and rough so i think it is not a good solution!! i suppose i'll get back to using diane35... does using diane35 for a long period of time reduce the amount of hair already found on my body? and if i stopped using it, does the hair return as it used to be?

You need to take Diane35 (called Dianette in some countries) for at least 3 months to see a reduction in acne, and longer for excess hair. If you are going to shave your legs the best thing you can do is to shave in a luke warm bath using a new razor each time and use a good shaving gel like King of Shaves. If your legs get bumpy you could use Clarins exfoliating body scrub in the bath on the days you don't shave. I would also recommend Elizabeth Ardens 8 hour body cream to moisturise them with. If you can't buy these where you live, search online for companies which deliver. Loiloi x

thanx for ur advices..... i have some questions..... i've read about diane35.... it is said that it is usefull in case that the increase in body hair is moderate.... in my case i think that the hair on my legs is a little bit more than moderate.... so in this case can diane35 help me? in case it helps, what shall i expect after using diane35 lets say for 9 months? does the amount of hair decrease? i mean does the excess hair go away and never come back? thanx
