My nine year old has had acne since his birth. I took him to a dermatologist as a baby and we did good cleaning at home as well as a cream for outbreaks of pimples. Currently he is having a tough time with blackheads on his nose as well as breakouts of pimples from time to time. He washes his face at nite. What else can we do to get rid of the blackheads? Is there any one face cleaner that works well for kids?

Hi. My son is 8 and has also suffered acne and blackheads since birth. As well as seeing a dermatologist, have you seen an endocrinologist to determind the underlying cause of his acne? My son uses Clean & Clear lotion for blackheads, the one for sensitive skin. It really matters whether your son's skin is strong and oily, or still quite delicate because of his age. Loiloi x
